Our stalk-and-stand Series

ambush

Just like its larger cousin The Pursuit, this fanny pack is all about performance. There are no frills or doohickeys that you won‘t need, only usable features which add far more convenience than weight. With six pockets, bed roll straps and the Badland‘s Air Track Suspension system, this pack will pull more than its load (a whole lot more).

Good Day Pack

This is my 3rd Badlands Pack. The quality of these packs keeps me coming back, and the warranty gives me confidence in the purchase. The Ambush is my day pack for deer hunting. It has room for gear and lunch in its generous main compartment. You will find one pocket in there. There are 2 small zippered pockets on the sides. On the bottom you will find bedroll straps. These straps can be loosened and tightened but not unbuckled, so you will have to feed through whatever gear you want to carry. Buckles here would be a nice improvement. The main waist strap is long enough to fit even the biggest eaters, on the flip side, if your waist is 30 inches or less you may find that you can't get it snug enough(Kali). 2 Water bottle pockets are nice.

Great Product

This is a great day pack for hunting. I can put a multi-tool, bone saw, spare handwarmers, 5 speed loaders, flashlight, small rope, spare gloves and a lunch in the pack without stuffing it. Higly recommend this pack.

Great pack

I actually bought this pack to use as an add-on to my OX pack for more volume on longer trips. I attach it near the bottom below the rear pocket and it fits perfectly. I can detach it for making short trips from camp when I want to carry some basic items, and leave the Ox pack at camp. In additon to adding volume to the OX, it gives the option of water bottle holders which the Ox doesn't have. The single main pocket is nice and you can fit a lot of gear inside, especially if using small compression bags. It rides well with a full load and doesn't drag down your hips. The bedroll straps and daisy chain let you tie plenty of gear on as well if needed. Another solid product from Badlands

Holds and Sits right

this is my first badlands pack and I was skeptical I will admit but I used this pack today for a 7 hour spot and stalk in the back Georgia woods, it held everything for an all day hunt. The pack was extremely comfortable and never slid down or needed adjusted, it even stayed balanced with only one water bottle on it. The pack is extremely roomy and held my gps, full size may, three game calls, a flashlight, extra rounds for my 308, a fleece hat and set of gloves, a set of ratchet cutters, wind checker, range finder and some paracord. It had room for more and still did not feel cumbersome. The pack easily spins around to your backside to get out of the way if need be. I have become a huge badlands fan.
