The great thing about technology is that things just keep getting smaller. The smaller things are, the fewer resources they consume and the more sustainable they become. The Badlands Inferno Hunting Jacket is a perfect example of this principle. Super lightweight with excellent mobility, the Inferno Jacket uses technically advanced materials that allow you to pack it into an extremely small space. Best of all, its insulating technology will keep you as warm as a jacket weighing twice as much. This hunting jacket is the best tree stand jacket we have ever used, and is perfect for any situation where warmth is paramount above all else.

INFERNO JACKET is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hunting 2017 Great jacket!! Kept me warm!!! Best jacket I have so far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ND Late Bow Season Cold! I recently bought two Badlands Inferno Jackets. Why two? Well, I live in North Dakota and sometimes it is cold, other times the outside is trying to kill you. For the last month of deer bow season it is usually the latter. The first Inferno I bought was a size Large and fit me perfectly(5'10" - 180lbs). I liked it so much that I bought another in an XL so I had plenty of room for layering underneath it. I bow hunt almost exclusively out of tree stands and ND has never known a day without wind so this jacket does a great job of not letting the fast air blow your body heat away. I don't have to worry about it getting wet due to the fact that water freezes at °32 and that would be considered a scorcher of a day in late December here. There is the subject of noise, this jacket will make the zip sound when brushed on itself or other stiff or hard objects. This noise is not a concern of mine due to the fact that the wind cancels that sound out here in NoDak and I don't move much in my stand. I used to dance and rub my arms all over my chest but that is because I was freezing to death and this jacket has stopped that. It deserves a medal. I probably would not wear this jacket if I was stalking deer on the ground. That is why I have Badlands Impact and Badlands Enduro Jackets. Each method of hunting calls for a different set of tools. This is a very light jacket as well so I would pack it to the top of my favorite glassing peak to wear while sitting still up there also. It is a little on the poofy side but not overly bloated like my mother in law. So late season stand or still hunting in 40° to -10°(with extra layering), this is a great piece.

How water resistant is this jacket? Can it stand up to 8-12 hours of rain?

Asked by: Andrew888
Not at all, it is water resistant, definitely not water proof. You will need rain gear for that amount of rain. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to give us a call or shoot us an email and we will gladly help you out!

Hello, which of these jackets would work better on a late November elk hunting in New Mexico average temp around 20's to 40's. the Inferno Jacket or the Alpha Jacket. Thanks

Asked by: Hunter7
Hey Arnold, The Alpha Jacket is a non-insulated rain jacket, whereas the Inferno jacket is an insulated synthetic fill jacket that is very warm. I would recommend the Inferno, and the Alpha jacket as an outer layer for wet weather. How quiet is the jacket? Ten yard deer hunt quiet?

Asked by: Greg
The Inferno Jacket is quiet, but it has a polyester outer layer that is not as quiet as some of our other apparel; such as our Hybrid set, or Impact set.
