The roots at Badlands run deep and many may not know, that the company started two decades ago making mountaineering packs for guides going up the likes of Everest, K2 and Denali. We learned two important lessons from those days. One: mountaineering equipment was light years ahead of anything else out there. Two: we liked hunting a lot more. Fast-forward to today and hunting pack technology has far surpassed mountaineering and we still love hunting more. None the less when designing the Point, we took many of the concepts and ideas which worked so well while scaling some northern face or a first ascent and fused them into this pack. It‘s simple, it‘s light and built like a brick $H!Thouse.. The suspension is based on our AirTrack™ System and offers a highly advanced zippered back panel access, making getting to your gear easier than ever. It is funny in life, how sometimes the longer you do something the more you realize, that less really is more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pack This is a perfect day pack. Expands to hold what you need for hunting light! Not gonna carry out an elk in it but will get the first load out nicely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Muzzleloader Hunting I have been using the pack to hunt muzzleloader for the late season. Pack has plenty of space and is well designed. More than enough room to keep some extra cloths and all my muzzleloader stuff. Only draw back is the distance from the waist strap to the shoulder straps is non adjustable. Since I am kind of bulky when I draw the shoulder straps tight it pulls the waist up too high. So I can pretty much only use it without the waist strap. Other than that great pack.

Hello, I was interested in using this pack to haul in my Lone Wolf stand and sticks for whitetail hunting. It looks like it has good set up to attach the stand and sticks to total weight of (27lbs but the platform is 19 inches wide.) Is there another

Asked by: Byron H
Hey Byron, Honestly, most of our packs are capable of attaching a tree stand to. The Point would do great, but I would also recommend a pack with an internal frame if you want it to distribute the weight better. In that case, I would recommend the 2200 pack or Diablo Dos.
