Counterfeit Pack Warning:

Recently it has come to our attention that an overseas factory has been producing Counterfeit Badlands Backpacks. We are not certain how many have made it into circulation: However, our warranty department has received a number of them submitted to us for repairs. These packs are made with inferior materials and manufacturing techniques and are identifiable by looking at the suspension, which is made from a cheap foam mesh which does not match the rest of the pack as well as off colored plastic buckles. Thus far the issue seems to be limited to The Super Day pack model.

To protect yourself from these scoundrels make certain that you only purchase our products from an Authorized Badlands Dealer, which is listed on our web site. Like most consumers, we have a great distrust for warranties. It would be so simple if everybody just wrote the truth when telling about their so-called lifetime warranties, but then again not everybody can be as straightforward as we are.

Our Warranty

We don't care what happened, or whose fault it was, we will fix it for free forever. We could care less if you bought it at a garage sale or a gear swap, as long as it says Badlands on the pack it's covered. All we ask is that you use and abuse your pack as much as possible so we can learn how to make better products.

Now you see why we thought it would be a shame to hide a warranty like this in the fine print.

Those Other Pack Companies' Warranties

"We are putting a lifetime warranty on this product not because we believe it to be worthy of such a thing but because we figure most people will forget about it after a while and simply throw the crap we make away. However, for those trouble makers amongst you who attempt to hold us to our word we do promise to him-haw around and do everything in our power to place the blame on you for actually using our products, and then we'll try to weasel out of any responsibility if at all possible, unless of course you are really pissed and we will see what we can do."

Pretty harsh, but you know it's true. Badlands makes it easy and doesn't leave anything to vague interpretation.

What to do if you have a warranty issue with your Badlands pack:

1. Call us: (801) 978-2207.

2. We'll give you a RA number. Do not send your pack to us without getting one of these first.

3. Send us your pack. You pay for shipping. Here's our address:
