Johnny Costello"I've owned quite a few packs in my lifetime, and I always wondered if one would ever be made to be comfortable, conforming, versatile, but also everlasting under extreme conditions. I don't need to wonder anymore. I've overstuffed my Badlands packs with gear and weighted them to the max with elk meat. Badlands packs are bulletproof! I use them for virtually everything and they never fail under any conditions!"
Cameron Haines, Eastman's Bowhunting Journal
Eddie Claypool Chouteau, OKI'm a hard-core backpacker and bowhunter, and I surround myself with only "like" gear. Badlands packs not only meets — but exceeds — my demands for performance and durability . . . you can't go wrong with this stuff! From alpine Alaska, to desert Arizona, I trek a lot of miles each year. For getting gear into the wilderness — and meat and antlers out — my Badland's packs "R.O.C.K in the U.S.A." I cram them and ram them; throw them and drag them . . . they're always lookin for more. Yes, I take them for granted — cause I know they'll do the job. Own'em, and you'll see that "Possession is Obsession!"
Stephanie RaineyMy name is Stephanie Rainey. I'm an outdoor freelance writer, hunter and host of an outdoor television program in Northern, Arizona called, "Stepping Outdoors." I'm always on the search for the perfect pack to carry all my hunting and camera gear, in fact, my barn is littered with packs that I've used once or twice throughout the years and discarded for one reason or another. Luckily, I found Badlands Packs and I've been using their monster fanny for carrying all my camera gear when I'm filming my show. All my microphones, batteries and extra gear fit perfectly in the pack and are easily accessible. I also have Badlands 2200 backpack, which I plan to use this year when I go hunting for black bear.
Marc  SmithAs a hard core, back country bow hunter, I am looking for gear as tough as the country I hunt. Badlands are as tough as they come! Besides being the toughest packs on the planet, they are the most comfortable, form fitting pack in the industry. When I'm back deep on a 10 day sojourn, the last thing I need to worry about are sore hips and shoulders. Like many public land western bow hunters, I face a lot of competition. I need to get in deeper and stay longer than the average guy, this keeps me successful year after year. I depend on my Badlands packs to get my gear in and my game out, no hassles, no worries.
Danny Farris Inside Archery & Bowhunt America MagazinesWhy try a Badlands pack? Take a look at the warranty… Now that’s a warranty! You might wonder how Badlands can do that. They can do it because their packs are tough as bloody nails! I rely on the Badlands 4500 for my backcountry hunts, not only because it’s tough, but also because it has the most comfortable, form-fitting suspension system that I’ve ever used and I know that I can count on Badlands to really stand behind it.
Tom Ryle“As a professional product designer and hard-core bowhunter, I'm hard to please when it comes to hunting gear, especially packs. Good pack design is both art and science - balancing human factors and ergonomics, functionality, aesthetics, durability, cost, and overall quality. Thus far Badlands is the only company to master these constraints. They continually turn conventional thinking on its ear with new solutions to age-old problems. Badlands is a relentless innovation engine, pumping out industry leading pack solutions for all personal preferences. All packs are carefully crafted to fit the human body comfortably while hauling loads all day long. And the warranty? Second to none (but I’ve never had to use it).
Fred Burns"As an avid hunter, I look at my gear to either make or break a hunt. I have used Badland packs exclusively because of the reliability, shear comfort to carry, and the ability to keep my gear organized and protected. I used my Badlands SuperDay on a free ranging Aoudad hunt and it performed flawlessly. Because of the superb design, I was able to wear the pack day after day in the rugged mountains. Hands down Badlands makes the best packs. You won't be disappointed!!"
James KiserI purchased this 2200 pack before my moose hunt, but only after e-mailing badlands asking “you state in your promotional material that it can haul a moose quarter”, can it really? Response, “it will haul anything your legs can handle”. Well you were right, it not only hauled four moose quarters off this moose, but four for my wife as well. (She got off easy, carrying a Badlands Monster Fanny Pack) By the way the legs handled it, but were sore for three days later…the pack was ready for more, no recovery time needed. Thanks Badlands!
Ronnie WetchI purchased my "SuperDay" pack in 05' and have used it on three different hunts. The SuperDay Pack - whether it's the many different compartments, allowing me to hold my spotting scope and a water bladder, or the forward facing compartments that I am able to reach while wearing my pack. These smaller, compartments are great for holding calls, snacks, GPS, and gloves. The packs design is extremely well thought-out as it contours to the back, and takes weight off of the shoulders. While on my Arizona Elk hunt one of my friends/guides noticed the pack and its endless amount of caring capacity. His comments to me were, "man I really need to get me one of those!" You have done an excellent job, and please keep up the good work.
Ryan McReathMy name is Ryan McReath. I am a elk hunting guide for Adventure Experiences Inc. in Colorado and True Grit Trophy Outfitters in New Mexico. I have been using the Badlands SuperDay pack for two years now and I LOVE IT. It is the most comfortable, versatile, and durable pack I have ever put on. I hunt in some of the most rugged terrain in Colorado and New Mexico and if you are looking for the right hunting pack you have found it; BADLANDS HUNTING PACKS. I guarantee you will love it too.
Matt DorramDear Badlands, I have owned my Super-Day pack for about 6 years and I just can't say enough great things about it. I have used and abused it repeatedly and I continue to marvel at its functionality and durability. I have stuffed my Super-Day pack with as much meat as it can possibly hold, then hiked, stumbled, crashed, and even crawled my way out of the back-country with my prize. Your packs are truly built for punishment! I even managed to fit all the meat of an entire Colorado Bighorn Ram into the pack. After straining to close the zippers, I strapped all my normal gear and clothing to the outside. The entire load was a brutal 125 lbs, but the single trip prevented another hike up the mountain after an already grueling solo hunt in 2006.
Bob BarlowDear Badlands, I have been using your packs for several years. My favorite Badlands Pack is the 2200, it holds everything I need for my big game hunting. Most of my hunting is done on horse back and the 2200 model does not rub on the cantle of my saddle when I ride. As an outfitter I need equipment that is reliable and durable. I recommend badlands packs to all of my guides and hunters.
Mike MillerWhen I hunt I hunt hard, and I'm rough on my equipment. The only pack that has ever took the abuse of my hunting has been my Badlands Pack. It has gone hunting with me from indiana to florida, to the northwest territores. I will never use another pack besides my Badlands again, and thats straight up! If you try one you will know what I'm talking about. If you ever see me in the woods or scouting I'll have my Badland pack with me! It's like my knives or flashlight or bow, I don't go to the woods without it! I think you ought to change the name too (Badasspacks), cause thats what they are!!
Bobby WorthingtonIt is refreshing and very rare to purchase a product which I do not have to do some work on. I own backpacks and fanny packs that has torn at stress points and I have had to repair them. I also, out of necessity, do a lot of modification on most products I purchased today. When I purchase and use a product with the Badlands name on it the thought of repair or modification never enters my mind. It is refreshing, and very rare this day and time to find the kind of workmanship that is found on Badlands products. I have never been happier with a product than I am with my Badlands packs. I am a perfectionists and very hard to please. If you are the same way I guarantee you Badlands products will exceed your expectations.
David W. LongOver the years I have owned a lot of packs, as a matter of fact, I have a room full of them. This year I made the switch to Badlands and I must say, I am very impressed. Not only are they the best built hunting pack I have owned, but they are also the most comfortable. I recently used the 2800 on a high country archery mule deer hunt in Colorado and it performed great even though I had it overloaded with enough gear for five days. At the end of the hunt I really pushed it to its limits when I packed out my entire 200 5/8 P&Y buck in one load. Kudos to Badlands on their quality packs.
Jason BarnettI just wanted to write to you and thank you for making such a solid pack. I use the RT fanny pack and the 2200. My 2200 pack is a tough one. Monday morning 9/17/07 dad shot his bull down in the bottom of a deep canyon in Central Utah. My badlands pack held up to the tremendous loads. The attached pictures are to show you the loads this pack is capable of handling. On this my fourth load, my pack weighs right around 100lbs.
Frank McMahonI put the Badlands 2200 to the test with my first elk. This bag handled the 80-100lb meat bags flawlessly. I made 4 trips to get the meat back to the coolers in my truck. Even horses couldn't have gotten to where I was hunting. This pack is a workhorse!
Damon_Stone Kregg_Thomassen“At Determination Outdoors our Badland packs get put to the test year after year. Where most hunters use their packs maybe two to three times a season, we use ours on every filming outing as well as in our own hunting. So we need packs that are versatile, durable and comfortable, that will last and stand up to the harsh conditions of both hunting and filming seasons. Badland packs meets these requirements and more, with unmatched performance and construction to last a lifetime they help make carrying bulky camera equipment easier and help us get away from the crowds and back to the places where we like to hunt. Thanks Badlands”
South Cox" "When you are carrying 50 pounds of gear in your pack all day for a week, you want a pack that is comfortable and quiet. Test drive a Badlands; the Cadillac of hunting backpacks!" |
