ABOUT APPROACH CAMO
When we designed Badlands' camo pattern system, we set two rules for ourselves: we'd do it right, and we'd make it work harder than any camo on the market. That meant working with experts on how game sees colors and interprets patterns. Proving that it would adapt to changing light conditions. And putting it through the ringer with test after test after test. It's not easy designing a camo this good. But we didn't sign up for simple.
The Approach Camo System currently comes in two styles: Approach OG and Approach FX. Each style is designed to adapt to your surroundings, so you can't really go wrong with any of them—but subtle differences make each one especially effective on specific hunts and seasons.
MAIN TECH FEATURES
Approach OG (the Original) works well just about anytime, anywhere—but its green, brown and tan hues make it especially effective during early season hunts with rich vegetation like pine and sage.
Approach FX (Fall Crossover) has a darker hardwood color scheme, making it ideal for late-season hunts on browner terrains, where the leaves—and temperatures—start dropping.
ADAPTIVE COLORATION
Other patterns morph into a human-shaped shadow at a distance. Approach Camo's unique design adapts to light conditions throughout the day, keeping you hidden when it matters most.
MULTI-LAYERED VISUAL CONFUSION
These layers of shapes and colors might seem random—but they're carefully arranged to ensure that the eyes of a game animal can't detect where one shape ends and another begins. In other words, even if they think they see you, it's already too late.
